Default Homemade spare tire carrier

Got bored so I made my own spare tire carrier and wanted to share.

I just lift it into the back then hop in the back and lift it onto the mount, a little more work then a stock carrier but I don't have to worry about it hitting anything on steep inclines and it looks soooooooooo much better

Aesthetically, I think it looks good. But doesn't seem very functional because it makes your rig very top heavy, which could make it pretty unstable off road under the right set of circumstances. In other words....it oculd increase your risk for a flop. Hence the reason most of the weight is kept low.
