Hood Dancing

I wonder if Line-x ing the underside of the hood might help? A little extra weigth to keep it from blowing around, less engine noise,rust protection,???

I had the hood dancing issue and removed the hood spring as my first solution. This has seemed to fix the problem. If it starts dancing again I'll try the wire tie solution next.

I haven't noticed hood dancing yet.... knock on wood (I've been knocking on a lot of wood lately... )

So far no dancing hood. However I can see the hood flex sometimes right where the hold down bracket is for the windshield.

If you meet a semi, at speed, on a 2 lane hi-way, the kind of wind blast that rocks the Jeep, and tries to blow you off the road, You will not only see it, you'll HEAR IT!! The hood flies up a couple inches, then SLAMS back down (at that point, it's got some hellacious tension on those rubber links!!

You gotta' see it to believe it!
