alright guys, i have a Warn 8000 lb winch on the way for my unlimited...is it possible to mount to the stock bumper without the 400 dollar kit?
suggestions?

Yes, you can buy a "universal" winch plate. Very easy to fit a Warn on it.

Got to harbor freight on the net, they have one for 30-40 bucks, a guy on here used it on his stock bumper.

I had this model one year ago. Remove the 2 stock hooks, and this plate is very easy to install to a JK stock bumper. You can install any winch. (I installed the Warn 9.5 ti) I had to make 2 holes. Take a drill, and put OIL on the plate. It takes 30 seconds to make holes.
