How big are you?
I ask bc, well... Lately its been a pain to enjoy the Jeep. It's only got 3,300 miles on it. I drive back and forth to school which is only 12 miles each way. Which is not bad. But last weekend I put a little over 1,000 miles on it enjoying a drive around Texas.
During that drive I had to stop multiple times to stop and switch with my brother to drive bc I was cramping up in the driver seat. I am 6'2" and 285lbs. The seat all the way back I still hit my knees on the dash.
If your a big guy, how are yall enjoying the jeep during long drives? Or a long time behind the wheel out on the trails?
I'm coming from a 4 door 2500 dodge pickup lol. I knew it was going to be smaller, maybe I should lose some weight lol.

I'm 6'1" and 165 lbs. I have no issues with elbow room, but I do miss the leg room I had in my previous vehicle, which was an 04 Silverado.
My JKU is like driving a small sedan, as far as the interior is concerned.

I'm 6' 2" at 200 now, when I was up around 295 it was a little tighter but i got used to it. Just gotta find what's comfortable for yourself i guess. Isn't there a kit to extend the seat travel?
I'm 6'4" 290 and I don't have a prob with it. Put some 7-8 hour days behind wheel and its fine. When I drive 4-1/2 hours once a month to visit sis in law I only stop for gas. It took sone getting used to again fron coming out of trucks. I used to think my girls ford fusion was small but now it feels roomy
I think it has some to do with what you've driven over the years. I'm 6'3" 245 and I don't get uncomfortable at all, even in a 2010 with the not-as-cool-as-new seats. That said, I've driven Jeeps for 20 years and love 'em. My wife has a big black suburban with leather seats, sunroof, nav, etc. Sure it's comfortable, but it also feels like I'm driving a recliner down the freeway, and even with several electronic adjustments that can be made to the seating, I find myself fidgeting trying to get comfortable. I actually am much LESS comfortable (read: alert, connected, and enjoying the road) in the Suburban than my JK. Just to make sure, do you: 1) have the seat down vertically as far as it will go, and 2) have the tilt steering upwards as far as you need?

I'm 6'1", 205lbs. After adjusting my seat position, the back angle position, the seat height, and then the steering wheel position to my comfort level, I have no problems. Are you not realizing there are more adjustments to best suit your comfort?
The J/K is really not a tight fitting vehicle, with all the head room in it, I therefore have to assume you must be over looking one or more of the comfort adjustments. In fact my brother is 6'6" 285lbs and it's one of the few vehicles he doesn't have to bend his neck down while sitting.
However, if you feel it just doesn't fit you well enough, I will gladly take it off your hands for a greatly discounted price, since it's such an uncomfortable vehicle.
