Default How can I disable the TPMS chime?

2008 JKU. Had since it was new. Don’t want to buy the flash I want to physically remove the speaker and if possible, the light. I found a thread that removes the speaker for the door chime but I don’t know if it’s the same speaker.

I have that option in my HP Tuners. So I suggest you get in touch with someone that has that availability or something similar. It is performed on the VM Scanner function which does not need a licence to connect. Hell - if you were in Calgary I would silence that for you free.

Easiest is to use a scan app. I used my OBD Jscan it was easy. I wish I could turn off the seat belt chime.

Should be able to turn off seat belt chime. I did on my 2008 with the Jscan app.

I'm curious why the desire to remove a physical speaker vs. disabling it via programming options? Is that primarily due to cost of programmers, cuz if so Jscan is maybe a total of $40 depending on what BT dongle you get, and it's really a dynamic tool for diagnostics even if you didn't use any of the programming features (even though you would).

Because I want to disable the light too. I sucked it up and bought a programmer and disabled TPMS though.
