Default How could they make such a thing?!?!

Just thought I'd share this with everyone...I was coming home last night and stopped at a car dealership to look at a Jeep Wrangler cause my sister-in-law is wanting one so I looked at a 2007 unlimited X and seen on the window " 4x2 " and was shocked to see that is WAS a FREAKIN 2wd Jeep!!! I did not know that they made a 4x2 Jeep wrangler and why? Who would buy this??

Yep, there are a ton of 2WD Unlimiteds. Pretty lame if I do say so myself. 2WD Jeeps in general confuse me because the Jeep name is so synonymous with 4WD vehicles.

Less weight, and less parasitic drag from having to turn the dif and axel.
My thoughts anyway

So is there a large economic benefit from purchasing a 2WD, then upgrading with aftermarket axle and xfer case when you're doing the rest of your build? Never even considered this as an option.. I'm with the rest of the folks on 2WDs making me chuckle unless there's a damn good reason (custom build) and it doesn't stay 2WD for long. Kinda more like a blank JK canvas?
