OK I didnt do this, but my wife did. How do you get chicken guts smell out of the carpet????

Steam clean it two times, then spray Febreeze one a day for a week, and vent the windows. Trust me, did this to two cars that were owned by heavy smokers. Can't tell now.

I've got some Lysol spray that is like febreeze.. great stuff.

Pull the carpet, soak it for a day and allow it to air dry for a few days...

another option: get a big bowl (ie wide, like a serving bowl) and fill it with vinegar

Leave that in the car over night. it works. Works on smoker's cars too.

It'll smell like vinegar for a little bit, then nothing.

I pulled the carpets, 3 of them, power washed 2 and washed the other, all of them are hanging and drying, its still 106 right now at 8pm, so you can imagine the smell of 150deg chicken guts in a jeep today, but the carpets should dry quickly,
I can still smell it alittle

While hanging, could also try to scrub it with dish soap since that stuff removes oils and grease...

You get rid of chicken gut smell with cow ball juice. It's really just simple science.
