I went to a fabric store and bought some felt. Cut it a little longer and just roll up the window with the felt. Seems to have worked well since I haven't gotten any new scratches since I started using it.

When she was new I worried about scratches and used the Clover patch roll.
Now with all of the trail scratches I have, I just throw them in the back if I have them with me or lay them over something in the garage
The Clover patch is good if you don't have room to just throw them in the back.

one of two things.
If I'm at home, I drape them over my other vehicle in the garage.
I also cut a length of wide PVC pipe and mounted it under the back seats. I roll the windows up, with a soft cloth (thin blanket) so that there is no plastic on plastic, and place the 3 windows in the tube. I've got a threaded cap in there to keep them from falling out when the doors are off.

I use the Cloverpatch also. It is the best $75 I have spent on the Jeep so far. I really like how it sotres the windows and that it ties to the roll bars ontop of the top when down. Excellent purchase. It should come standard on the Jeep.

Glad to see all the rave reviews for the clover patch roll... just got mine in the mail yesterday and looking forward to some good weather to try it out! For the price, convenience, and based on the reviews it seems like the way to go.
UPDATE: Yup, Clover Patch Window Roll is the way to go! Used it a few time now and it works great!

I have been using mine since last spring and I had my windows stored in the clover patch over the winter and I just took them out a couple weeks ago, one had a slight roll to it but it installed no problem and was straight when I took it off jeep again. They were in clover from nov till beginning of april.
