Default How does the soft top compare to other vehicles?

This is the first experience I've had with a convertible of any kind.

I recently swapped out the hard top for the soft top recently, and though I've only had it down a couple times, it seems to be fairly well designed.

I'm just curious how the JK's soft top compares to other convertible vehicles. What about previous generations of the Wrangler?

I love the soft top on mine.
I don't have the sunrider. I just have the regular top.
It's loads better that the factory one on my 89 YJ.
I even got an expensive aftermarket one for the YJ and the one on
the JK is better than it was.

it much more quiter than any Jeep soft top I've been around and
I've been in plenty of jeeps.

it still leaks though.
that's my only problem.

I love how fast I can take it down and put it back up.

as far as other convertibles?

it's no where near as nice as my Mothers Mustang.
that thing is nice and quiet
push-button also.
(but I wouldn't want it on my jeep)

I forgot that there are different factory top options I've got the sunrider if it makes any difference

I was really impressed with how quiet the soft top was as well. I didn't have any prior experience with convertibles, but I expected more noise for sure. Haven't had a lot of rain yet this year to find out if it leaks or not, but so far everything looks good

touch wood I have had the top in sunrider mode a bunch of times so far, and no leaks. Guess I have done something right, even if the side window tabs don't seem to want to stick in the door surrounds that great!

Only leak I get is when it pisses rain like it did all day today, and that is only because of the rain dripping off of the top into the Jeep when I open my doors..
