how fast do you drive in 4 high
How fast do you normally drive in 4 high have to work tonight and the roads are covered in ice/snow but main roads clear don't wanna stop and change if dont need to but dont wanna tear anything up
I've driven up to about 80 mph with no issues. If i'm going down the interstate in the mountains there is snow on the roads at the peaks sometimes. I'll just reach down and bump it into 4 hi just in case when I get to those areas and when it clears up put it back into 2 hi. Been doing this for 3 years with no problems. I think the owners manual says not to go over 55 but I think that's just for legal reasons.

You would have to live in these conditions for 8 months a year like I do, you get use to driving in it, the 4wd just helps keep the shiney side up.
As for 4wd not helping braking go out put in 2wd and do a hard but controlled stop and watch your abs go crazy, do it in 4hi and the front wheels being driven really help stop the wheels from wanting to lock.

Might as well let it go. You won't change anyone's mind.
