when he gave it to me on 9/17, he said oh yeah..
I meant to call you as I got a call today.

Does this sound right?
I REALLY did not expect it to be this soon....
If this sounds legit how long should I expect it to
take from here?
Luckily I am in Detroit so shipping wont take long.

Im in the same situation. I gave my specs on Sept 25 and I was told today that I am in D status. Sorry Im no help

 

It took me about a month to get mine after I received word of D status. Once u get ur D-1 est delivery date it will only take 4-7 more days after that(living so close). I live near Detroit too and my delivery date was wed the 26 and got here sat the 29

I am quite excited, I really thought this would take about 4 mths but seems it may only be about 6 weeks. The owner of the dealership is a very good long term family friend and he promised me a quick turn around and looks like he is good to his word.

Now I just gotta get off my butt and start ordering all my goodies (Olympic versa bars, wheels, tires, 2.5 in bb, mastercraft grab handles and new floor mats, then within a couple mths I will get a new radio/gps in there then sooner or later new front and rear bumpers)

 

Sounds like Jeep is catching up on the backlog. Got mine a couple weeks after D1

 

My Unlimted Sahara was D status the first week in Sept. I'm going to pick it up tomorrow

 

I spoke with Chrysler today and they said that I dont have a build date but one of his screens said that by Oct 31 the jeep will be in production. My question is how do they know it will be in production if they dont have a build date? Any thoughts?
