Question How long did it take for your 1st battle wound?

I have 421 Miles on My JK and just put my first Battle wound on her today. I am sure I am not the record setter but I do wonder why I would or any one would take $32,000 in the trail

It's all over now she has her first scratch so I am planning a trail ride for this weekend

Post pics and tell the story:

I went out with my daughter to take some pics because the driveway shots just didn't cut it.

I climbed on to one rock going for the pose and scratched the bumper up. My daughter said Ewwwww! Dad your in trouble.

I thought is it that bad? So I got out saw it and laughed. I told her I guess we can go wheelin this weekend she has her first scratch. She Said SWEET

It’s a baby boo boo. But now I can put her to the test.

I got home from the dealership, and realized there was a chip in the window. It was in the tinted part at the top so I could not see it on the inside. Now that small chip is a running crack. Kinda sticks out on a brand new jeep.

I know this I posted this in the Talk forum. I thought after I posted it that show and tell might be a better place for it. If a Mod could just delete the one that is in the wrong place. Thank you and sorry

700 miles and 2 baseball size dents in the drivers door, but I don't worry about it much, as it was bought for wheeling.

I keep asking myself the same. I'll never understand it but will always have fun trying to figure it out. My second trailride I destroyed a new( 1week old) AEV wheel, a flair, swaybar link and lightly dented and scratched the rear quarter. About 2000mi.

800 miles on it (drove it from florida to virginia)... first weekend in virginia i dented the muffler and the exhaust tubing closest to the engine, got the infamous bumper dimple and then sawed it into a stubby, cracked the hard top getting stuck in front of a huge tree on a steep incline, ripped the plastic skid plate or whatever it is from underneath the front bumper, dented the tail gate, worped the tail gate metal, horn doesnt work from drowning it with mud, scratched the paint to high hell from trails with TOO MANY TREES!... the list goes on and on... i've been driving it now for almost a month...

can anyone beat that???

It has to be in sheet metal before it counts A stray fart could scrape up that plastic.
