Before going hard-core on your JK mods? Did you play it safe and just get larger tires while under warranty, or did you go with a Stage 3 AEV kit on day one (who cares about warranty anyway)? Let's hear your story!

Day 1 , lift with 35s. I told myself no at the dealer but the jeep got the best of me when I got home and ordered the lift. It's so addicting!!!!

Warranties are important to me with my JK being a daily driver and all, so my mods are fairly mild but still good for what I'm going for:

Week 1: 33 inch tires, and nick-nacks (mirror relocation, running boards, boring stuff)
Week 2: Teraflex leveling kit
Week 3 and 4: front and rear Body Armor off-road bumpers
Weeks 5 to present: Whacked my fenders. KC Hilites fogs and long range beams on my front bumper.
Upcoming: Ordered a JKS quick sway-bar disconnect, Smittybilt XRC budget winch (8000 lb), Body Armor winch plate, center rear brake light and winch accessory set.

For now I'm doing small mods to make this a more comfortable daily ride - when I pay off the loan I plan on beating the hell out of this Jeep.

About 6 weeks after I got her I installed a TF 2.5" coil lift and a week later put the new 16" rims and 35" rubber.

Been loving it since.

Took me a couple years to save up for all the stuff I have as I wanted to do it all at once but I told the guy at the dealership that I planned to mod it all out. Its what jeeps are for.
