You should not have to pay for rental. Search for other threads covering tick. They rec contacting Chrysler directly to get rental paid for.

I just went thru this last week and had no issue at all getting Chrysler to pay for my rental. Had the service manager call them and immediately had it approved.

1 year old '12 JKU with 9,700 miles, ( got engine replaced ) Now with an '13 engine 10 miles.....

20,018 Have had the driver side head, the trans cooler and powersteering lines replaced.

Just rolled 60000 kms on my 2012, head replaced around 52000...
Otherwise no issues.
