Just turned over 6,000 miles on the odom. as of mid September. A 2012 JKU with half doors. Special order and possession in the fall of 2011. There is the common known ticking at start up. Especially after several days of sitting. Thought I read from another post, and do this myself now, and that is to turn the ignition key all the way w/out actually starting the jeep. And in leaving it in this position for several minutes, it seems to lesson the ticking time. I can only assume that somehow motor oil is reintroduced back into the cylinders if that is possible before actually turning the engine over and running. Would be curious to others similar experiences.

I bought my 2014 JKUR new and have 23000 miles on it. Just started having brake squeeking issues but the pads are all in good condition. Took it to the dealer to get it checked and after they called chrystler service tech they are having all new calipers, pads, and disks put on all under warranty (Disks and pads due to overheating from not releasing) Other than that issue they take good care of you when you need the warranty and i love the jeep so much.

Damn! You're killing me. I've got 24k on my '14 that was delivered in May of last year. I thought I was driving it a lot. If it wasn't so much freakin fun to drive, I wouldn't be on my 4th oil change already!
