So I listed my JKU on eBay and within 24 hours I had to pull it down. It's a '13 and I've put an insane amount of miles on it so I was thinking of getting out of it and into something cheaper or newer. Then I had the idea to move into a new JKU and start over again. Anyway, I just couldn't do it because I knew I would miss the Jeep life. Anyone ever actually gone through with the sale and then came back? Talk me out of selling this thig!

Sold a 93, in 2001, after 8 years as a DD and trail runner. Almost immediately regretted it. Bought another YJ within 2 years of that and kept it until I got my JK in 2014. Won't ever be without a Jeep again. Like they say... There is just something about a Jeep

I'm on my 3rd Wrangler. Had a 1992 YJ. Sold it and bought a Suburban. Then had a 1998 TJ. Sold it then bought a YukonXL (Suburban) now I have a 2012 JK. This time when I get sick of having no room I'm keeping the JK and having two vehicles.

I had:
1985 2 door cherokee 4x4 in high school that had the red houndstooth (super sweet).
Then a 1993 Grand cherokee 4x4 in high school
Then a 1995 YJ Wrangler Rio Grande edition with spring over and 33's when i graduated. Aka "the panty dropper".
Then a 1997 TJ Wrangler with 6 inch lift and 35's. aka "too tall"
Then a few years of lifted trucks….
Then a 2009 JK Rubicon. My avatar.
Then 2 more lifted trucks…but I always wanted to go back to my jeep sickness.
Now a 2013 Jk Sahara.
My wife has also had 2 Altitude Grand Cherokees. Both white with black wheels. She just got her 2015 a few months ago.

If you sell your Jeep it will always be in the back of your mind, especially on a nice day and you pass someone with there top off just smiling and loving life.

I also built 3 scouts in the last gap between the 2009 and 2013 JKs. They were all 1967 scout 800's. Put scout II 304s in them, restored one to original which was cool and beautiful. But they were not something I could throw my whole family in or drive the long drive to work in every once in a while when I don't want to squeeze in my tiny commuter Civic. I will never be without a jeep again, can't wait for the 2017 to come out...

I had a 2005 LJ that I traded for a truck. I still regret that. I then got a 2008 2dr rubicon. I recently traded that for a 2015 JKU Willys which I really love. But I wish I would have kept that LJ, by now it would be my third vehicle and it would be built up real nice.

Thanks for all the feedback. I figured I made the right decision taking down my listing.

Sold my 2009 JKUR a year ago after I was basically done building it. I miss it. Planning my next Jeep purchase. Might wait until next year to see if there is a better idea as to what the new model may be like but then again I may just get impatient and buy a new one tomorrow.

How many miles are on it? We've got almost 50k on our 2013. Had the same discussion. Ended up deciding to start looking for a new set of tires and seeing if we can run it out to 100k.
