Under invoice for an '07 model this time of year. Mine had that stuff and the 17" wheel package and I paid $25000 in Dec 2006. Good luck.

What Renegade said! Check the usual sites (kbb or edmunds) to get the invoice price. I paid invoice for an 08, so I bet you can get an even sweeter deal on that 07. Helps that you're trying to get it at the end of the month! Good luck!

This is what I did. I checked out MSRP and Invoice on line first, then went to a couple of dealers to see what they would do on price. I DID NOT tell them that I had invoice on the Jeep I wanted. (you have to know what options you want and stick to them, remember compare apples to apples).

What came about was that a dealer gave me a price on the Rubicon, I new it was about $1350.oo to $1400.oo above the invoice. I sat there for awhile and then said...... Take a another $1000.oo off and I will leave a depost today. So, they did, and I did. Done Deal. Got Rubicon for about $400.oo over invoice.

Lets face it, they still made money, or the deal would have been a no go.....

where is a good place to find an invoice price online? Maybe I'm missing it but the price quotes I was getting are only showing MSRP.. $32,800 or so for a loaded 08 Sahara

Something to factor in is that there are not alot of 4-door hardtops left... That can work FOR you as the 08's are everywhere but against you given that the hardtop is pretty desirable (so there may be diddly left for you to make your choice).

That said we get no special deals, but I believe 25 and a little change is what we paid for our 08 X Unlimited with a auto, yellow color which is more money, etc.

Go to either of these sites and configure the JK you want -- they'll both show MSRP and invoice prices:

http://www.edmunds.com/

http://www.kbb.com/

Enjoy!

I have found edmunds.com to be the most accurate. Most dealers will sell any used vehicle on their lot for Edmunds "Private Party-Outstanding Condition" and will give "Trade-in Clean" value for your trade.
