How often is your Jeep wave returned?
Since I got my JK, I've been waving at every Wrangler or CJ I pass by. This is my first Jeep-Jeep (had a Cherokee before), and when I learned about this Jeep wave thing, I was looking forward to it. Unfortunately, almost no one returns my Jeep wave... I'd say I've gotten maybe 2 waves in the month that I've had my JK. Is it the JK? Is it that I'm still mostly stock? Who knows...
So, how about y'all?

Yeah I live in the city so maybe that has something to do with it, but I hardly ever get a return wave. For me, it's the stock jeeps that never wave....the driver usually looks totally clueless. The modified ones seem to wave more frequently.

I do wave to other JK drivers and sometimes TJ drivers, but I hardly ever get a jeep wave back.
Possibley coz I live in non-jeep friendly town ie: people will run from me when I say I own a jeep

I usually get waves around where I live, which is out NW Jersey, near PA...
I travel to boston frequently tho, because NJ SUX...I usually dont get many waves around NY and southern CT...I guess thats because NY SUX!!!
Then I start getting waves again in Mass!!
Can you tell I HATE NY and NJ??
Anyways...I voted 60-70%...mostly cuz I stay the Del Water Gap and get good waves around here...

I second that! Never passed a CJ that didn't wave. For the most part, any modded up CJ, YJ, TJ, or JK will definitely wave back. The biggest reason many of the JK owners don't wave is because they are probably first time Wrangler owners. After all, the JK is not only the most capable Jeep ever, but it's also the most user friendly and comfortable Wrangler ever built. (ex: have you ever heard someone comment about the smooth[ish] ride on a CJ, YJ, or TJ??? I doubt it). The JK has reeled in a whole new group of customers with the introduction of the unlimited as well. But anyways.. a lot of the time I don't get a wave back because the other person isn't paying attention (can't get too mad about that, everyone is guilty). The other non-wavers are mostly women (esp. soccer moms with JKUs on steelies and street slicks lol), and a lot of times, teenagers. Sadly, I think most just don't know, or don't care :(

The Jeep wave was one of the things I was looking forward to when I sold of my XJ and got back into a proper Wrangler. I wave to everyone I see. If they don't wanna wave back that's thier loss.
