I'm 44 with 2 kids 7 & 9. Sold my Infiniti G35 and paid cash for the Jeep. As soon as the kids get big enough to climb into a lifted Jeep, the modding will begin. They will probably drive me to the nursing home in it, hopefully offroad.

I am 44 have a 9 year old boy and a 12 year old girl. My kids wheel with me and they are already arguing as to who gets the JK when they get older. I may have to buy another one to keep them both happy.

Granted, I'm 26, but take your wife for a test drive in one. That's what sold my wife. She didn't really like my YJ and loves our JK. the four door really helped because we were "thinking about kids"! She will notice after riding in it that it actually has a nice ride. A better ride quality than a lot of SUVs out there. Good luck bud.
