I'm 39 and my first Wrangler (second Jeep - first was a Cherokee quite a few years back).

I have a JK X and I love it!!

It was getting time for a new vehicle (had a Dodge Ram 1500 club cab and put 190,000 miles on it - it was still running good) and I had always liked the Wrangler and I decided to test drive one. Test drove a JK and knew within the first quarter mile that I had to have one. I had never driven or been in any vehicle that was as much fun!

My wife and kids aren't into the Jeep and think I should have gotten a 4-door. I wanted the classic 2-door. I test drove quite a few models and the JK was a definite and was a much better ride than any of the others I test drove. Maybe others including the family think it's my mid-life crisis and I've asked myself that question - the answer is a definite no - I'm hooked on the Wrangler now and plan to always have one and can't believe I didn't think of this for my first vehicle!!

It is my DD and I smile every morning when I get in. I swing by on occasion to take a look at it during the day at work. Makes me smile everytime I see it. Even rush hour traffic is tolerable - maybe not fun but the JK gets as close as it can be.

This thing is for anyone who enjoys the off-road capabilities and the on-road fun to drive. Maybe not for everyone - just those of us enjoying life!!!

57 years old. This is my third Jeep. I bought my CJ-5 when I was 31, my YJ when I was 43 and the JK when I was 55. Seems like a 12 year cycle...

My '08 is my daily driver, and our weekend fun machine.

My regards,

Widewing

I'm 30. My first Jeep. 2008 JK unlimited. Its my DD. It brings a smile to my face every time I get in it. Instead of buying a house, I bought a Jeep. This is the best investment I've ever made.
