Default How to order a new jeep

Well this may sound like a stupid question, but I'd rather ask y'all versus calling the stealership, otherwise they will keep calling me back buggin to buy from them. But how does one actually "order a jeep". I bought my 2008 Sahara JKU from the dealership a year ago, but want to trade in for a gecko or a 2013 (sept release) commando green. I read threads where people order jeeps, but how is it done? I can't seem to find the link on the jeep website.. Only "get a quote"

there used to be a thread on here with all the invoice prices per vehicle and add-on. i ordered a rubicon, added up invoice on add-ons, called dealer and said id pay 1% under that price as Im a member of treadlightly. he said okay. i ordered, it came, we kick ass on the weekends.

I used Threadlightly as well. No hassle. Took 10 minutes to order. The wait for the jeep is the real killer.

Step 1: Choose your options by building your jeep on the website
Step 2: print it out
Step 3: walk into dealership
Step 4: express desire for jeep
Step 5: Place order
Step 6: make deposit
Step 7: wait
Step 8: see step 7
Step 9: see step 8
Step 10: see step 9
Step 11: complete deal (financing, trade in, whatever)

The hassle/haggle comes at the very end. They will try to convince you that you want a jeep on their lot. Tell them to kindly cram it up their rectum. Don't let them tell you want a pink jeep, or different transmission choice etc.

1. Place order
2. Wait
3. Pass away due to old age, never knowing the pleasure of driving your ordered Jeep
