Default Hydrogen System on the Jeep

Okay so dont give me all the crap that this is snake oil and all that I am asking this from one intelligent human being to another(s). Has anyone installed a hydrogen/electrolosis/whatever system on the Jeep? My friend has a company that builds and installs them and he has given me the directions for free and i am going to build it and try it out. Have you tried it? Also I will give out the installation guides if you are interested. Cheers.

Not interested and won't go into details why, but keep us informed on how it works for you.

BULLSHIT

That was a big discussion last year at quebec4x4 forum. I read a lot about it, event from scientific reports.

Your jeep has to make a lot of electricity to run this gadget (from the alternator) and the engine takes more gas, al that to save gas!!!

You won't save money (don't listen to the sellers) and there is no proof of gas saving from serious references.

Default The Short Story

The short story:
It takes more energy to produce hydrogen than what it can generate.
That's why it's not an energy source.

You get waste everytime you change energy. So changing electricity = hydrogen = electricity/combustible hydrogen is not very efficient. I would be very surprised if it works.

Also, hydrogen storage is a problem. You would need a sophisticated storage system that even the major manufacturers, with $billions, are taking a while to develop.

Sounds iffy.

honestly, this guy wants to try something out, and good on him, and bearing in mind he is getting the info for free from "a friend" not a random sales person - this is an ideal real world trial!

loads of people used to go on about BioDiesel and LPG (and some still do tbh) and how its so ruinous on an engine and the seals and you lose power and torque and blah blah blah - but ive run vehicles with both with no difference in anything and currently run the JK on Bio with great success - so ...

personally, i would like to see what happens with your JK and see exactly whether it is practical in REAL LIFE as opposed to theory

let us know how you get on buddy

DO IT! I had a customer of mine that did ths on his NEW Camry. It is a "low preasure" hydrogen syetem. There is NO storage of hydrogen. It is a "hydrogen supplement" system that makes the engine more efficient. Long story short the guy with the Camry has major increased MPG and O emmision.

I say DO IT and give us an update.
