Default I always like to be first, but not this time

Been here for way to long, and still don;t have a JK in the driveway. It might even be acceptable if we had a TJ or even a GC or Commander. But no, still sportin the '05 Pacifica cuz the payment is low and we;re trying to pay stuff off to move houses first.

However, grandma (or nana) got tired of hearing Aubrey pine for "my Jeep" everytime she sees one on the road. (saddest part is that she will spot any wrangler, cherokee, liberty, GC or commander, but still says car to the patriots and compass- yeah, I have a SMART little girl!)

So, nana spotted a great deal at the yard sales a week ago and I trekked the 4 hr drive to and from nana's to pick up the newest Jeep in the house.

I'm glad she's happy, although I won;t be getting the "life size" JK in pink!
I posted all the photos in my album- still no good aty photos on this site.

We got our daughter a Barbie Jeep - it has been the best toy we have gotten her!
She's in the market for new meats though, the plastic ones do not give her the grip she is lookin for.
Adorable little girl by the way!

I first got the Jeep bug in 1973, I was stationed in Biloxi, Mississippi. It was a blue CJ5, $3200 out the door. The payment was $95.00 a month- too rich for my blood at the time....LOL I was a buck sargeant making about $ 400.00 a MONTH, my rent was $100.00 a month, groceries were $ 140.00 a month, car insurance $28.00 a month, etc, etc. If my bride hadn't worked we would have been hard pressed. After raising my two kids I finally was able to get my first jeep in 1995.... It will come for you....

Speaking of power wheels, maybe this can be your first Jeep that you mod.

do a youtube or google search for "modified Power wheels" you'd be amazed at some of the stuff you could do.

this guy put lights on his!

Here is the grip you need. Plus I copied and pasted the instructions

Power Wheels are fun, but other than being great for drifting, the wheels suck. On idea to solve this is to take a bike wheel (slightly smaller), cut off the side walls so you get a flat band of tred and then force it on over the tire. Heating it in the microwave can help soften it, just make sure not to over cook it! If it is loose, you can add a few screws to help hold it in place. Once you are done, you have a tire with real rubber tread.

Depending on terain, I have also seen people just screw on strips of rubber across the tire at a diagonal to give a paddle effect. If you do this remember to go diagonal so that you don't make the ride bumpier.]
