I can't have my JK
I bought a new JK a few weeks ago. I was supposed to have it on Jan, 15
The dealer called me: "We have many problems with the Chrysler production, and you won't have your JK before March or April 2010"
The dealer offered me to refund my deposit
I don't know what to do. I'm pissed off.
Very hard in France to find JK's at good price.

Did you special order it or the dealer doesn't have any in stock?
I have never custom ordered a Jeep but 3-4 months is about twice as long as it normally takes GM.
Maybe Jeep needs to run its plants 7x24 like GM is doing.

-Or they sold the slot allocated to you to a customer who paid more. I've seen that before.
They should have shown you the ID number (forgot what is called) of the slot you were to get and show you from time to time the progress of it.
On the other hand, time could help you put some money into other toys or mods for your Jeep when it arrives.

I feel your pain. I ordered my Jeep from the factory and it took 6-7 weeks to come in. I was quoted a 2 month turn around time so I was happily surprised when the sales manager called me earlier than expected. Ordering direct from the factory save me thousands vs. buying from a dealer so it paid to be patient.

There are JK's in stock at this dealer. A friend of mine told me about the competitive price...

But I can't help you with all these prices in Euro
Terribly expensive the JK's in Europe
