I got bit by the stall bug
Well, I guess it was bound to happen. But it could not have picked a worse time. I was at Reagan International Airport going into the parking lot when all the dash lights came on and it died right in the middle of the road! Luckily the airport police were cool about it and had it towed for free to an employee lot until I could get roadside assistance (which was none to helpful). Anyway, I just had to leave it there until I got back. When I got back, I tried to start it and it fired right up. So is just took it home and scheduled warranty work for tomorrow morning.

I bought it in December 2006, so it is an early production. I diconnected the battery cable hoping it would reset the computer but nothing. I let it sit for the rest of the day and then it did start up.
If it is the stall bug it is a simple reflash to fix it. You should have gotten a recall notice a while back for it. Usually though the stall bug either lets you restart right away or in the care of driving down the road it will restart itself. Good look and I hope it's nothing more serious.
