I hate my dealership :(
Went in today for an oil change, asked them about the mopar lift in the interest of keeping my warranty. They informed me they would instantly void my warranty entirely no matter what lift was installed or who installed it, including them.
I informed them my warranty cannot be just "voided" for any reason, and they would have to prove whatever I modified broke something.
I just hate that I have to fight with them every step of the way. Honestly I think they don't respect me because of my age (20) and they think I won't fight for my rights.
Can't wait till 2017 or whenever the new models come out and I buy a new wrangler, I'm going to spend a day at my current dealership explaining why they suck and I won't be buying from then again.

I totally agree. I've had my 11' for over a year now I've only been to a dealership once for a recall. I arranged my Jeep all online and had them deliver it. Except for any other recall that might come up I hope to never set foot in a Jeep dealership again.
I have a 4inch lift superchips exhaust cai and gears and My dealer although hesitant they still do warranty stuff. They have to. They don't list anything in the warranty about modifications only void warranty for miss use or neglect. If they refuse you can sue them Theres a good thread somewhere on here about the mcpherson warranty act. I think that's what it's called.

After the hassle my dealership put me through just buying the damn thing, haven't been back since I picked up my Jeep, didnt even go back for the "free first oil change", won't be going back either...Especially not for my next Wrangler.
I call BS!
I have TWO local dealers who support my jeep for any warranty items - and take a look at the mods I have done! I have zero problems from either of them. Now, I'm not asking for them to warranty items I have fully replaced, like my axles, lift, etc. It doesn't hurt that I run a RE LA lift, which is the "mopar" brand as well. However, I do have to re-set my superchip each time I drop it off becuase of code conflicts. That means they always see my TPS light on, but I told them I run a chipset which includes the ability to override that light. They were fine with that too!
I can tell you that since Fiat bought Jeep, their customer service has GREATLY improved! I'm dealing with their corporate customer service on a difficult part I was trying to order (and they got ordered for me). They were fantastic. If I had problems with a dealer, I'd call their corporate customer service and talk with them about it.
Also, when buying a jeep, consider using fleet, or internet departments at jeep dealers. The price can be compared across dealers without every having to set foot in a show room. If you have a Credit card, you can place an order for $500, show up when it arrives with Credit union Financing and not negotiate a single thing. I bought my Rubicon for invoice and kept the 750 rebate. Didn't have to deal with salesmen or anything. It took me 5 tries (jeep purchase) to get a "best practice" and it's not stressful at all. In fact my son's jeep purchase is up next!
Call Chrysler corporate to complain about your local dealer and then find another one to give your money too. Good luck!
