Default I hate wheeling in Mud

The carpet got wet. I pulled them out and dried out on sunshine. So far so good.

Then I checked engine compartment. Since the water I played with was dirty,
so the whole engine compartment is covered with a thin layer for sand/dirt.

Should I clean them or just leave them as it is.

wash that off, mud/water will do damage to your parts.

Outside is dirty, but a car wash make it clean as new.
The inside one is a pain, not sure if I can wash it with a garden hose or not.
