Just found out that I have to rebuild my rear end and it's gonna cost me $700. I need to replace my brake pads also. I noticed today that one of the speakers in my sound bar is blown and as Im driving home from work I get a flat tire! What did I do to deserve this!?!

Thats not bad news now you get to spend some quality time with your Jeep. Plus nows the time for that regear or rear locker upgrade. And brakes are over rated. And nows the time to upgrade the sound bar speakers, you wont get much more out of it if it's the stock head unit but they are super easy to install and the 77kick10 are not that expensive.

 

I priced a rear locker and it's gonna be 1100.00 including the rebuilding. I dont have that kinda money right now!! And I always wave at fellow jeepers lol

This is your one chance to install a rear locker without spending any extra money on labor to do it!

You're already paying for the re-gear. Get an e-locker (even a used Rubicon locker) or, you can buy a COMPLETE rear Rubicon D44 with locker and 4.10 gears for under $1000. I sold my for $650 an it had everything it in already, plus 5.13 gears.

 

Any ideas on where I would look for a rubicon take off d44 & locker?
