Default I popped my cherry today!!!

I am officially part of the FUBAR windshield club today thanks to some shitty Honda and the rock it's tires kicked up. Got it at Safelite glass now getting the chip repaired before an entire replacement is needed. What a great start to the weekend.

Good luck with that. a buck says you will have another chip in under a week.

(at least that is how it worked for me)

Woo Hoo called allstate and didn't realize I had a 0 deductible for comprehensive coverage. They'll replace it for free now and everytime it happens. Cost me under 40/year for the 0 deduct. Great deal.

I have Allstate, $0 for windshield chips, $100 for replacement though. I'm on my third and need a new one.

definitely worth the investment. when i got a chip in mine and knew i could get free replacement i just waited until it spiderwebbed out -- most places will just fill chips

I still need to get mine fixed, but I am sure I will end up with another one. Safety inspection is coming up next month so can't wait too much longer

I'm on my third this year. The second was brand X and had bubbles in the rubber between the glass. Made it look like it was always streaked. After that I insisted they use Mopar glass. The mopar glass doesn't cost any more, it just takes a day or two to get it in since they don't stock it.
