Yea, even for me that temp is a little intense...

but, I did see a thread on here a long while back where a guy kept his soft top off in the winter and came up with a rather ridiculous/funny/ingenious solution to stay warm. He ran flexible tubing, like what runs to a dryer vent from the vents of the JK directly into his coat. Pretty funny, and it worked. I just tried searching for the thread but can't seem to find it. Funny stuff... Only in a Jeep!!!

I do it all the time. First in my convertible, then in my Jeep. Coldest I have it down was 15 degrees.

I have driven around without any roof and doors as low as -7C but that feels warm up here when your use to -25 and lower

My old CJ had NO TOP for about 2 years and it was the DD and yeah it would get COLD drove around in northern AZ in ALOT of snow with no top and yaeh at the time it was fun.

Good times.

Too old for that now, though. And todays Jeeps aren't made for that, with all the electronics and stuff. Still fun to remember.
Did it this way at my last duty assignment in OK LOL

and MAN people looked at me weird.

and FYI I'M SPOILED NOW I Bitch and moan when it's below 60* now. (and I'm usualy running a bikini top only now (doors with the kids))

Hell......up here it's that cold in the mornings even in the summer. So if I waited for it to warm up more than that I'd never have the top off.....

I have a great memory (30 yrs ago) of going to get a Christmas tree in a snow storm with my CJ2A. Had the top off tree stuck in the back grinning all the way there ad back as slowly froze. Got a wave or 2 from some non jeepers that day.

For a trail rig, yeah. Not for a daily driver. What happens if you need to go to an event which requires you to dress up? Doubt wearing a suit in a Jeep filled with dirt, mud, ice, snow, water is fun.

i was heading out for breakfast this morning, suns up, 27 degrees, wind chill about 18, barely a cloud in the sky, got the top down my Jeep, and people start flashing me and waving hard at me. they were giving me real strange looks. i was thinking something was wrong so i pulled over to check my tires, everything was fine. i just dont get it. people are weird sometimes
