The first one looks like a steering box skid plate and the second could be a lower control arm skid.

That's the same bracket from different angles. I emailed Pro Comp's tech support with a link to this thread. Maybe they will respond.

Alright, I got a response from John at Pro Comp. Here's what he says:

"This is our exclusive Rear Track Bar Reinforcement bracket/ brace. It has come our attention that the JK are breaking the Rear traction bar mount on the axle. We created this bracket/brace to keep the issue from happening. The bracket/brace is designed to work with our rear track bar relocation bracket."

I asked him if they might happened to have a pic of it installed to see if that will help further.

Wow, sweet! Thanks doing that for me, I greatly appreciate it. It would've been nice to see that in the instructions, but good to know now.

Thanks!!!

Glad I could help. If he sends a pic, I'll post that too. Since it ain't got too many bolt holes, it oughtta be simple to figure out. If you get on before I post a pic, post yours so we can see it.

Alright, John emailed me right back with some pics.

Where the bracket installs:

Bracket being put in place:

I hope this solves the mystery bracket. I think this speaks volumes for Pro Comp's customer service, too. John got back with me very quickly, and I was not even the person who had the question.
