If you have any ideas about discounts or have any info on how to get the best deal at a STEALERSHIP, please pm me. I am sure we can do invoice, but is there a better way to get more cash off?

The best advise I can give is shop around, and be patient. The dealers will compete for your business. GL

x2, also Costco auto buying program. If you are able to, browse the available inventory of your local dealers on-line, then contact them by email/website contact form. This will get you to the "internet sales person/manager" I've found they are more willing to do deals then the regular sales force.

I used Usaa car buying service on the last three jeeps I have bought. Ordered a 2012 jkur in Sept 2011 for 2500 under invoice, bought a 13 2 door in Sept 12 for 2000 under invoice, and I just ordered a 2013 jkur and its a secret what I'm paying for this one but it blows the other two away. The Usaa price here is strong (1500 under invoice, no haggle) and I use that as a starting point.

Dealer invoice minus 1 to 3% is the average. I got.my 2012 for dealer invoice - 300. So i save about 1% off dealer invoice.

If you are going to the stealership, join tread lightly it is a huge discount. I got a better deal than TL, but the dealer first told me to get it for a huge discount.

Good discount programs have already been mentioned.

In terms of negotiation skills, ask away if you have specific questions.. I've bought and sold 13 vehicles and have helped numerous friends and family members purchase their cars, both privately and through dealerships.

Step 1 usually involves getting into a good mood about the buying process and having a good attitude. After all, this is a fun day for you...you're buying a new Jeep! The steps ahead are a series of business transactions and not personal vendettas, so check bad attitudes and emotions at the door before entering any dealership. You have the goal of paying as little as possible, and your sales person has the goal of making as much as possible. It's absolutely possible to reach an equitable deal without "the car buying experience" that is usually a really negative one for most folks. Most of it has nothing to do with superhuman skill, but patience, politeness, and staying focused on the transaction itself.

X2 on that! I got 8% below Invoice by using the Tread Lightly 1% below invoice guarantee, and working between 5 dealers, which narrowed to 2 dealers in about one month. 8% below invoice for my built to order 2013 JKUR was still $1,500.00 or so less than the USAA price, and the USAA price was over $3,000.00 less than the Overseas Military Car Sales (Exchange New Car Sales) supposedly lowest factory direct price.

Question 2015 jkur pricing

This 2015 JKUR has the sam exact build-to-own specs that I had on my 2013 JKUR

-Manual
-Heated Seats
-UConnect with Bluetooth
-Black Hard-Top
-Side Air Bags
-Max Tow Package
-Auto Temp Control

Best pricing offered (thus far) from Rick Hendrick Jeep - Charleston, SC; same place that I got the 2013 JKU for 8% below invoice.

$35,888 (2015 JKUR)
-$32,990 (2013 JKUR)

=$2,898 (9% price increase from 2013 model with same specs)

The Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon has increased in price 4.5% every model year; that is nuts. Vehicles are liabilities that lose value, yet they increase in price faster than some decent real estate. Hard to wrap me head around this.

Still I found almost exactly the same stock 2013 JKUR (even same color) that I owned, with 30,000 miles and the "Great" USAA True Car price is $32,990; same price I got it for in 2013 new (8% below Invoice).

I am very close to getting a new 2015 JKUR. Have I completely lost my mind? What do you guys think about this price?
