So I ruined my oil pan and in my search for a new one I called a local dealership, $389 for the oil pan, that is the item price, not counting a gasket, and i assumed at that price it included labor. I told the parts guy I didn't want them to do the work I would, I just want the price, he affirmed the $389 price. Anyone else have crazy prices quoted from a dealership or parts house?

Do you need the sub pan or the main pan? You might be getting a price for the main and sub pan. I know I've seen just the sub pan go much cheaper than that.
