Insurance Question
I have been driving around for the last week and a half topless, doorless, and without wing mirrors. In Texas I technically don’t need them but I plan on finding some kind of setup that suits me for long term without the doors.
This week got me to thinking though, has anyone ever had the misfortune to be involved with an insurance company, yours or another driver's, regarding damage. Either on the delivering end or receiving.
I am curious if riding naked gives the bean counters extra ammunition to deny you a claim.

One of the best things that has happen to us when it comes to our insurance company, (which has to remain nameless) is the fact that we went from a brand new "car" back to a slightly used Jeep wrangler.. Our insurance rates dropped. Sure the insurance company views our jeep as a "recreational vehicle" and is aware that we take our jeep off road. (mildly)
However, they do not and will not cover "off road" insurance claims.. I've seen guys total their jeeps just to get the claim and get a new jeep.. and of course this is faults reporting of said claim. I guess that's why one should get as many witness to any accident as proof you weren't driving erratically. That being said.. one should check their own state laws.. I know in MD.. we must have all three mirrors mounted, and there maybe a change to the door less law.. only time will tell. In other words.. one bad apple drives around door less without mirrors etcs.. tends to force cops to look at all jeeps in a bright light.

Oddly.. I wasn't told this (mirror law/s) by friends or any insurance agent etc.. I was pulled over by the police that informed me of these things.. and I'm not attempting to discredit anyone or show I know it all.. cause I don't.. I'm simply referring to what a Maryland Office told me.. I even went to one of the state patrol headquarters to verify.
Although the link you supplied has good info.. there is some confusion. One line says one mirror (A), while the next line says side or outside mirror (B)
I'm not worried.. I'm covered all the way around.
