Default Interesting Observation

I just got my Jeep Green JK Unlimited Rubicon today and I noticed one thing that I hadn't heard anyone mention yet which I thought was pretty cool.

The signal arm has a feature on it where it will flash the turn signal 4 times when you just push it up or down like you would normally without actually clicking it for a turn and then letting it return to center. I rented a Smart car that had that feature and thought it was pretty cool but I hadn't seen another car with it. Maybe I'm a goof but it's little things like that which I find are a nice little touch.

Another cool feature is the ability to turn off the interior lights even with the door open. In the TJ and LJ you had to pull a fuse if you took your doors off or left them open a long period of time.

I've had mine 12 days now and still I'm discovering new and neat stuff.

Isn't it nice to know that someone at DC is actually listening to what their customers are saying

Kind of like hidden cookies in a video game. Though it's probably all in our unread owners manuals...

Hmmm...that'll be really cool. Always thought it was crazy that you could take the doors off but had to pull a fuse. I had my doors off so much this summer I just left the fuse out for the whole season. Managed not to leave my lights on even! It's always so funny when you're bootin' down the highway with no doors and everyone looks at you like you're crazy. Only in a Jeep. Can't wait to do it with 4 doors off!

Well I'm glad to see yours did it. I though it was a bug.
How do you feel about the cruise control stalk moving with the wheel?

Mine developed the ability to turn off the radio with the power window switches yesterday. It was after I left the car wash. Iguess something got too wet. I didn't even open the hood & spray. On the other hand It probably has quite a bit of mud in the engine compartment from the previous evenings runs:p
Today the windows function normally.

Default I've seen that.....

Interesting... when rolling up the windows in mine (power) if there is a CD playing, when the windows reach the top and seat, there seems to be just enough of a surge to reboot the radio... It comes right back and picks up playing where it left off, but it does cause a temporary skip and blackout of the display.

I guess I'll mention it to the dealer when I take it back for the first service...
