Default invoice ????????

hello everyone.i am looking at getting a jk unlimited rubicon.my question is how do i know if the dealers i am working with are showing their true invoice price.yesterday i went online and printed out an invoice price from edmunds.com,they said the invoce was 28,800 for the options i wanted.then i go to the dealers and they showed me an invoice of 29,600.both had the same msrp of 32,000.so whats the deal is the dealer pulling my leg or what?
p.s. the jeepwarehouse gave me a price of 29,400

any help would be great

Default Do a search

Go to the top right corner of this page - click on "Search"- type in Invoice price and you'll get a ton of past discussion on pricing - Good luck

Some dealers will try to double talk you by telling you they will sell you the VEHICLE for invoice. and in fact they will, but then they don't give you invoice price on the options, they charge you full MSRP on the options. That might be the case here.

Being Edmunds dosen't sell Jeeps and the Dearlership does. I think Edmunds might be pulling your leg.

Both edmunds.com and kbb.com are correct. However, the invoice from the dealer will have some marketing charges listed as the last two or three items. Usually around $200 to $400 bucks.

Some people say they didn't pay these charges. I know several dealers that will insist on making you pay them. Those charges should be the only difference. Print out the online invoice and compare it to the one from the dealer. The dealer should show you their printed invoice amounts. Just ask them what's going on.

If they won't do this, find yourself a honest dealer.
