Default Ipad holder

Hey, debating on buying an iPad and would like to know if anyone has an adapter or holder for an iPad in their jeep, if so, pictures would be awesome, thanks!

You can always get the JKE dock from Vector Offroad (Google is your friend) and then attach the iPad mount from ram-mount. Not cheap but looks kinda cool!

I use this exact setup, nice to see the terrain in google maps while on trails. I also use it to hold my phone for normal navigation and my camera for pictures / video on the trail. Nice thing is with the RAM mounts you can move everything around and position it exactly where you want it. I've since moved the position for the IPAD more to the right so I still have easy access to the radio.

I also experimented with hanging a netbook off of it for the better mapping software, but it was a little too bouncy for my tastes, but Ram makes floor mounts too that I might eventually invest in.

What is that phone mount? Is it part of the iPad mount or separate? I need one of those- I just lay my phone in the seat next to me but miss a lot of calls if the radio is up and I don't notice it lighting up,

Another RAM mount that I installed coming up between the console and passenger seat after I dropped the IPad out of the car and cracked the screen.

I went ahead and mounted to the floor under the console which was a bit of a pain since I had to partially remove the console and detach the auto gear casing to give more work room. With more access to longer drill bits and slimmer socket wrenches this may be avoidable.

I also replaced the aluminum rod that RAM provided with one a little more rigid since I did not need it to bend.

I intend to add an IPhone mount which will tie into the back of this mount but have not done yet. Hope is helps

I live in Phoenix. I went to the COP 4x4 facility this morning to look at their iPad dash mount. It is well made and top quality. They are individually handmade. That's why they cost $265 shipped or $235 at the door.

I could see this being real awesome with the new wifi backpack on the gopro, while streaming spotify and using some mapping software.

That definitely sounds like a sweet set up. I'm trying to decide go pro or crack my iphone again (I switched back to stock for a while), and use it as the wifi hotspot since I have a carry over unlimited data plan.
