Default It's like driving a limo.........

After trading in the 2-door 2007 for a 4-door 2008, I feel like I am driving a limousine. I have to be a hell of a lot more cautious when backing up, and I can't do U-turns in tight areas anymore. There is a incredible difference in highway ride, the longer wheelbase smooths out the bumps. Still haven't taken her off road yet to see the difference...

I am going with the unlimited next time and thats the only thing I dont like about it. The fact that the 2dr can turn around anywhere and fit through tighter trails(tree areas) easier. I guess my next one will need some armor!

Shorter wheel base is normally perferable.

I call it a wash, depending on the terrain you're wheeling. Certainly high-centering is an issue for the Unlimited, but if you do steep inclines/declines (think a lot of the Moab terrain) the extra wheelbase can be beneficial (more stability).
