Thought I would post and share this finding, just as a reference of course.

Thank you for the link

Vehicle: 2007 (JK) Jeep Wrangler

Concern: Intermittent no start. Better description is NO CRANK. A clicking noise may be heard. Engine will later crank and start. Condition is intermittent.

Cause: Insufficient ground.

Resolution: Add a 10 gauge black wire from battery negative terminal to the engine. A good/easy place to connect it is the top alternator mounting bolt.

Details: -

Vehicle: 2007 (JK) Jeep Wrangler 3.8L engine

Concern: Engine is overheating. Engine runs too hot. The engine temperature gauge reads higher than normal. The A/C is not as cold as it should be. The coolant is full and the electric cooling fan is operating. The A/C system has sufficient charge to operate.

Cause: Found the vehicle had been used off-road, based on dirt build-up under the vehicle. A fine-grained dirt/dust had clogged the fins of the radiator and condenser. The reduced airflow through the radiator and condenser caused the symptoms.

Resolution: Remove electric radiator fan and carefully clean the radiator and condenser with a garden hose.

Details: The dirt build-up in the fins was not obvious. Had to shine a flashlight through to see blockage.

Vehicle: 2007-2010 (JK) Jeep Wrangler

Concern: Water leak from the top of the front doors. Water is from rain/carwash.

Cause: The door seal weatherstrips (attached to the doors) were not ideally designed and need to be replaced. Revised parts are available.

Resolution: Replace both door weatherstrips. They are very easy to replace.

Details: The Jeep Wrangler top system (softtop and Freedom Top equipped) is designed to repel normal rain and carwashing only. Do not expect it to seal against high pressure water.

Vehicle: 2007 (JK) Jeep Wrangler

Concern: Customer states the heater is inoperative. Inspected and found the A/C-heat system will not change modes, and found it blows only cold air. It appears the climate control mode and temperature knobs are having no effect on system operation. The fan speed knob is working normally.

Cause: Removed the dash center bezel to inspect. Found both cables were disconnected from the knobs on the A/C control head. Unsure as to why. First time to find this particular problem.

Resolution: Reconnected the cables to the A/C control head and verified correct operation. Reassembled.

Vehicle: 2007 (JK) Jeep Wrangler

Concern: The interior lights will not turn on using the collar switch on the left multifunction stalk. The interior lights do come on when a door is opened. Related symptom: the instrument cluster backlighting is not dimmable using the collar switch on the left stalk. When the headlamps are on, the backlighting is at full brightness and cannot be adjusted.

Cause: The left stalk multifunction switch is defective.

Resolution: Replace the left stalk multifunction switch to correct.
Vehicle: 2007 (JK) Jeep Wrangler

Concern: Front wipers operate but will not stop in the 'park' position. In other words, the wipers will stop in any position on the windshield when the wiper switch is turned off. Related symptom: wipers operate on low speed when the switch is in the 'intermittent' position.

Cause: The park switch inside the wiper motor is faulty.

Resolution: Replace the front wiper motor to correct.
Vehicle: 2007 (JK) Jeep Wrangler

Concern: Speed control (cruise control) is inoperative.

Cause: Speed control switch (small stalk on steering wheel, right side) is faulty.

Resolution: Replace the speed control switch to correct.
Vehicle: All late model Chrysler, Jeep, and Dodge vehicles (PT) (LX) (WK) (XK)

Concern: No start. The engine does not crank or start. When key is turned to the 'start' position, nothing happens. Battery is NOT dead.

Cause: The immobilizer module is electrically 'locked up' or is otherwise non-responsive.

Resolution: Disconnect the battery for a few minutes, then reconnect the battery and retest. If the engine now will start, the immobilizer module may need to be replaced.

Details: The immobilizer module is located very close to where the key goes into the ignition lock cylinder. The immobilizer module has several names, depending on year/model: SKIM, SKREEM, WIN. Vehicles with a WIN also have a FOBIK type remote (no key).
Vehicle: All vehicles equipped with electronic stability control (WK) (XK) (LX)

Concern: ABS/ESP/BAS light is on.

Cause: First thing to check for is an alignment problem. Test drive the vehicle and check if the steering wheel is straight when the vehicle is going straight.

Resolution: If steering wheel is turned left or right while driving straight, the vehicle needs an alignment. Perform an alignment then test drive. The warning light should turn off.

Details: The stability control computer measures steering angle and degrees per second of steering wheel rotation. When it sees steering angle greater than or less than -0-, but the yaw sensor is not sensing a turn, a rationality fault is set and the ABS/ESP/BAS light will be on.
