So my Jeep squeaks. Its not ridiculously loud but loud enough for me to hear it with windows down basically every time I drive. I haven't identified if its a metal on metal squeak or not but don't think it is. I haven't done much to my JK. On side streets it squeaks over almost every bump. I have a spacer lift and have had my jeep rust proofed with a tar spray. I know it can get squeaky when mud and dirt get in their but I've had it washed a few times. I'm wondering if the tar spray on my shocks is causing it??

I don't mind half the time because I'm thinking it adds character and is part of having a Jeep. Then again driving doorless in a downtown and hearing your big bad Jeep squeak a lot is kind of a frustration.

Is it just the seat? My driver's seat squeaks pretty bad.

My pedal squeak on rainy days. It's a jeep not a Bentley so I've gotten over it.
