The Jeep isn't as good of a convertible car as I hoped

Buying a jeep for the sake of it being a convertible is like paying an escort just to take her to dinner. ....trade it in.

I drive aound all the time with the rear glass open. Try that. The air has somewhere to go now instead of bouncing around in the cabin.

But I agree with everyone, it's a Jeep. You must embrace what it is and not what's it's not.

Yeah, there was a bunch of dust inside by the end of the trail. I drove it with the rear window out and the sunrider flipped back. I guess there's a vacuum that pulls in the dust & grit through the back. I spent about half an hour with the shop vac getting it all out and still had to wipe down everything with soap & water. I think it actually might work better from a dust standpoint with the top completely lowered. Or I could time it so the dirt road scenic drives happen after some rain while the roads aren't so dusty.

Doing that "will" eventually cause the gas struts to fail, with some pretty smashing results.

I don't notice the wind being that big of a deal. But then this ain't my first rodeo either. But being a biker who only rides with a skull bucket helmet and no windshield I'm used to it. OIIIIIIIO RULES.
