Default Jeep Jamboree...

Has anyone ever attended one of these? There was one a few hours from me, in Hot Springs, AR, I thought about going until I saw he price. $150.00 per person. Not vehicle, person. Myself, wife, and two kids=$600.00 I was just wondering why they are so expensive. We just waited till the next weekend and paid $25.00 total. I know the cover like one meal and have guides but damn! I guess maybe that's for a t-shirt too?

Price is way to steep for me......I'm thinking that's better spent on mods!!!

Went to the Killington, VT Jamboree last year and I can honestly say I've never had more fun. I've already signed up for Killington for this year and I'm thinking about doing Bethel, ME also.

I thought the same thing. Hot Spring is about 3 hours from here and when I saw there was going to be the Jamboree close to me I was like hell yeah...I could shoot on over and experience this all first hand. Then I saw the price. $600 for my family?! I am sure it would be a good time. I certainly hope so for that price. What does $600 dollars get exactly?

Can't say enough good about my JJ experience in Ouray last September (my first JJ). People were great, driving was great, scenery was great, even the food was great (catered evening meals done very well). I had so much fun I've booked two more for this year. Ouray is not set up as a challenge for the advanced wheeler so since I am a major rookie this was perfect for me. I learned alot. I took only my dog so expenses weren't bad but this year I am pushing my wife to come along to Ouray. (Don't tell anybody but she thinks we're all a bunch of nuts!)

you can always check out superlifts website for events they have going on.
they are usually much cheaper.

I live in Little rock so I can pop down there whenever.
I usually go on sundays to AVOID the crowd.
Saturdays are packed during the spring/summer/fall.

Most places that do Jamborees have other events that will be a lot cheaper.
I know Here for Palo Duro Canyon, The Jamboree is in May, Very pricy.
But our Jeep Club here does an even and it is half the price for the same trails.
Actually, I was told that the Jamboree does lighter trails than our club does.

+1 I have been on some AWESOME runs just put together here on the forum. While I have heard that that Jamboree is a lot of fun I don't think it worth the price.
