Jeep JK8 Firetruck
#11
1st - i like it, high cool factor
2nd - i DONT KNOW Shit about fire/rescue (but i was a Boy Scout....kinda like the holiday in thing)
CREW ? EQUIPMENT ? this thing is loaded down as it is....
I wonder what the weight is on it (w/ water)...jeeps are far from "light" (at 4k lbs for a naked sport 2 door)
Seems they could do better w/ a 4 wheeler and a garden spray tank on the front or back/rack.
sure you can provide SOME 1st response crap but youre not gonna haul anyone OUT in this thing.

The Eagan Fire Department got in touch with Burnsville Off-Road, one of most well-known Jeep aftermarket converters in the United States. The shop is in Burnsville with a second shop, “Burnsville West,” located near Denver.
Scott said owner Dan McKeag, a longtime Eagan resident and frequent user of Lebanon Hills Park, offered to transform a factory Wrangler into his version of a Jeep JK8 pick-up that would offer the weight capacity and space needed for a brush truck.
The department moved forward purchasing a four-door Wrangler through government bid Burnsville Off-Road will begin work on it immediately.
Once the factory transformation is complete, the department has contracted with Rosenbauer America to install a Rosenbauer Ultra High Pressure System (UHPS) into the vehicle. The pump will have 50 gallons of water and 6 gallons of foam and uses the Rosenbauer UHPS to deliver a “big fire suppression punch.”

JK Super Freak
Looks like more of a show piece than a practical apparatus but cool I suppose...Bet I could put down more fire with a Pulaski than that thing can with 50 gallons of water though ;-)
