This is not the same Jeep as in the 1st posting unless they changed the hood. I thought in the 1st post those pictures of it had the cowl induction type things on each side towards the back part of the hood when the one in this one I am replying to has them located more towards the front. So maybe tire carrier is an option or something aftermarket you have to buy if you want it to mount that way. That is how I'm going to see it for now.

One more thing, is AEV involved? If I'm not mistaken that's an AEV hood

As long as this has a decent towing capacity, say 5-6000lbs. I was be first in line to pre order one of these. It would be perfect for what I'd like out of a daily driver.

I wonder if they would do a 4dr short bed version? Kinda like a gm canyon/colorado. I'm thinking it would be to short, or they would have the stretch the wheelbase to long. Either way, I'm in for sure!

This is kind of interesting, for all you unlimited owners, would you want a longer wheelbase?

I just don't think a 4 door jk truck would have that much appeal. In terms of aestheticas, get a pick-up, off-roadability, you would lose out tons on approach/departure/break over angles.

I think the unlimited wheelbase is great, but I love the extended wheelbase of a 2-door, harder. An unlimited pickup, is just a regular unlimted

They have to have the tire on the tailgate otherwise it doesn't make sense to have a truck bed to only hold a tire.

I still think it will come down to power. Without, it will fail.

WOW,, I'M SPEECHLESS...LOL

There are a few companies coming out of the wood work, for the 2 door and 4 door JK's with a fiberglass pickup add on kit. No chasis work needed, just re-inforcing the roll bar.

I love that cream colored Jeep /pickup. SO OLD SCHOOL.

They aren't, the wheels are Stockton 17x8" 51 series.
