I'm a big fan of Yakima racks, have been using them for years. I currently have the "hold-up" hitch mount rack, works great even with the 29er mountain bikes and it's built like a tank.

I am rolling a Thule parkway four bike hitch mount rack with an 8" extension to clear the spare. Also has a snowboard/ski rack that attaches for those CO winters.

I got it from Amazon.com, if you search like bike cargo adapter it will come up, its like $20.

Softride Inc has some good hitch style bike racks, might be pricey though.

Buy one of these... Takes about 10 minutes to install.

Also consider one of these for when you're not using the hitch (keep it in the Jeep when you are using the hitch).

Don't forget to buy a key locking hitch pin, to avoid coming out and finding the bike rack or D-ring assembly missing...

Receiver Hitches from Quadratec

I like the SportRack A30901 2EZ Hitch Platform 2 Bike Rack... Do a search on Amazon for best price... Depending on the width of your spare, you may need a receiver extension adapter.

Here's the Hidden Hitch and D-ring adapter installed on my JK....

Thanks a bunch for all the info guys- I'm leaning towards the drop down Thule at the moment as I really can't afford the roof rack- but it does look awesome! I sent you a pm Viperpilot, and if that works out it would definitely be the best option -$ I'll post some pics up once I have my rig loaded up with my new 29er.
