I never really liked the windsheild badge "IT'S A JEEP THING YOU WON"T UNDERSTAND" and I still don't but now at least I get it. Since adding the snorkel, stinger and solar panel I get alot of people asking.
What is that smoke stack on your Jeep for?
What is that thing on your hood?
What is the big loop on the bumper for?
And often when I ride with passengers they ask "who are you waving at?"

I guess there really are some Jeep things folks don't understand......

And of course the one I can't help but take offence to "Is that a Hummer?"
I guess the JK does look a little like a H3.

I quess owning a Jeep really does put you in a sub-culture like it or not.

Before I bought my Jeep, I didn't know what is that "stinger" in the front was for...
Every time I saw one I was like OK... That's weird...
Then, I got my Jeep, joined this site, saw some crazy pics maneuvers on some rocks... and found out "WHY"

You only "GET IT" when you "GET IN TO IT" I guess....

Then I tell them where I am taking it and they ask how much it was
Then they are like whoa I wouldn't do that
I am like well that is why you don't have one I guess

I have had my stinger on for about 5 or 6 week now and I bet I have had at least 15 people ask me what that is for.
