What else is new. Some of the TJ crowd are just trying to be BMOC. Plenty of them don't remember what it was like to be the new kid.

The closest one that matched was about 6 hrs away. I also would be getting it on the Employee Plan which I dont' think allows for dealer trades, at least it didn't used to. Ordering allowed me to get exactly what I wanted and some time to get some things in order like selling my YJ (sold the day I posted it) and finances.

Finding a 6-speed with MyGIG and Dual tops seems to be rather rare on a lot.

Hey Vandi, I think the race is on between us. My dealer called me yesterday and said my Jeep GReen unlimited X is scheduled to be built on June 16 with delivery estimated at June 24-27

On topic- I think the wave depends on the driver. My wife drives a Patriot and there are many many many Jeepers that wouldn't wave to her, no matter how hot she is. On the other hand there are some that will wave to anything with a Jeep logo.

hey, my wife is hot and drives a patriot too!

anyway we dont recieve the wave in it

I was called a Jeep bigot by a buddy who drives a car.

I salute him whan I see him, single finger.

Wrangles get a wave.
If a another jeep waves at me I wave back.

I received a nice wave and grin from an older cherokee yesterday. I wave at all Wranglers if I can see the driver's face but don't go out of my way to wave at someone across a 4 or 6 lane road.

And sometimes I forget or don't notice in time and that is ok too. . . .

From one Patriot to another

Maybe we should start a hot wives and their Patriots thread

Default anything goes

My wife definitely thinks I'm a little bit strange for the 'Jeep Wave', but I'm keeping it going. I definitely get more response from people in older wrangler models than the newer types, but I'm not holding this against anyone yet. I don't wave to every Jeeper out there b/c there are just too many of them on the road. However, I'll always wave back to anyone, regardless of make, model, or level of attractiveness (of the party in question or the vehicle they're driving)

I wave at Wranglers, CJs, and of course the old military Jeeps. I will wave at anything that waves at me first
