Ok just had a camping weekend and ended up needing emergency tire repair. I got not a nail but a bolt in my tire.

Made me think of a new thread. Stories of when your jeep misbehaved at the worst time.

I was on a trail head ready to start a 2-4 mile hike. It started to poor, hail and thunderstorm and lightning over our hill top location. We called off the trip and at the rangers station one of the kids pointed out my leaking tire with a bolt in it. I was not too worried I have onboard air. I could limp to safety but I went to find an open station cause I did not want to drive the 3 hours home that way. All worked out I found a station opened on the weekend.

Only cost me $30 to fix. Now I know I need a patch kit.
