Jk Brute?
I have to disagree... why would they go to the trouble (and expense) of relocating the rear seats closer to the front seats, and adding narrow rear doors instead of the existing 4-doors rear doors? Just doesn't make sense.
I think it makes perfect sense! The TJ Brute lenthens the frame. By using the 4 door JK we get the long wheelbase jeep and a pick up truck all in one for those who don't need to carry more than 2 inside. I love it and I want one!!!
I would do a JK Brute conversion in a heart beat but it ain't likely going to happen. A couple of years ago I called AEV and asked them if they were going to update the Brute and issue a JK based version. I got a "No there are no plans for a JK Brute" from whomever I talked to at AEV. I suspect this has not changed as there are plenty of TJ's running around that can be converted into Brutes.
In thinking about it I also suspect that they have a lot invested in the TJ Brute kit/design and will want to maximize that investment fully.

Check out Rubitrux. It's in Boone, NC. He's got a good website.
He does a good conversion with the LJ. I've got an 06 Rubicon that was converted....and it looks a bunch like the Brute picture above. A lot less expensive, depending on how much additions you make.
This one isn't mine.....He was letting me use it while he was building my red one.
