This has got to be an April fools joke because certainly they can't be serious with this stuff?

Scion iQ: "Tiny rear seat". Come on.....The entire car is "Tiny".

They just don't understand what purpose built vehicle means a supercar is not what you would pick for a coast to coast road trip, but you cant have 40 miles to the gallon and 2000mph top end. They need to evaluate the vehicle for the purpose it was intended for.

The last sentence here is exactly right. The Wrangler is evaluated as though it is a minivan substitute. Interesting thing is that CS also rates the satisfaction of vehicle owners and Wranglers score pretty high on that.

Okay folks, lets not lose focus of what the O.P. has posted here.

And that is he reads consumer reports. What we should be asking is why?

So this is a good thing b/c 90% of the JKU's in my area are driven by soccer moms... now that ConsumerReports rated it so low maybe they will stop buying them

I just got rid of a $50000 truck to get my jku and while its not as quite and doesn't have a back up alarm...... My jeep is one of the best rigs I have ever owned. They want comfort, quite and access then they should go to a nursing home. Jeeps are purpose built for awesomeness they just don't know how to handle it.

The suits a consumer reports are just upset that thier BMWs lose half their value in 3 years while the unsophisticated Wrangler leads the market in resale. They are just out of touch with reality and what people want.
